Connect with our Resource Coordinators:
The mission of Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) is to offer a holistic, developmental approach to education. This involves integrating health, family support services, social services, and academics within the school environment. While not all services are delivered directly at the school, the school resource centers act as community hubs that address barriers—social, physical, and emotional—that can hinder a child’s ability to learn and thrive. Over time, schools become trusted centers of community, connecting families and students to essential resources and support, empowering them to succeed on their educational journeys from cradle to career.

We aim to connect our students and families with services or resources that fall into the following categories: Health, Food Insecurity, After School, Adult and Family Education, or Housing Stability.
Literacy Initiative: Communities that Read Together, Rise TogetherWhy are we doing this work?
Our Nation is facing a literacy crisis. Helping families and students get their basic needs met is the first step in ensuring our youth can achieve literacy growth and proficiency
  1. Reading proficiency is at historic lows
  2. In the 2024 NAEP assessment, only 31% of 4th graders and around 33% of 8th graders scored at or above the Proficient level
  3. 40% of 4th graders and 33% of 8th graders scored below the Basic level—the highest rates ever recorded
