Full-Service Community School
The mission of Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) is to offer a holistic, developmental approach to education. This involves integrating health, family support services, social services, and academics within the school environment. While not all services are delivered directly at the school, the school resource centers act as community hubs that address barriers—social, physical, and emotional—that can hinder a child’s ability to learn and thrive. Over time, schools become trusted centers of community, connecting families and students to essential resources and support, empowering them to succeed on their educational journeys from cradle to career.
We aim to connect our students and families with services or resources that fall into the following categories: Health, Food Insecurity, After School, Adult and Family Education, or Housing Stability.
Our Resource Coordinators anticipate connecting students and their families to resources starting in the Fall of 2025. Check this web page or district social media pages and emails for updates on implementing the Full-Service Community Schools Model.
